Building the Most Effective eNet Infrastructure |
Delivering Network SuperVision |
This information is provided to help you connect to the Internet via the eNet. This sheet provides information that is specific to your booth.
Your eNet connection is delivered via CAT 5 unshielded twisted-pair (4-pair) with an RJ-45 connector. These connections will auto negotiate for both speed (10Mbps or 100Mbps) and duplex (half or full). If you cannot locate your connection, or if there are any problems, please contact the Network Help Desk, ON SITE, on the event floor, in the Exhibitor Services Area. Please note that if you are connecting to the eNet via a switch or hub device you will need to connect using the hub uplink port or via a cross-over cable.
We'd like to advise that there will be a number of exhibitors who will have active 802.11b or 802.11a equipment either in their booths or as part of their technology demonstrations. We ask you that you please be considerate of your neighbours, and do what you can to avoid channel interference. Lower the power of your access point or, if possible, turn it off when you are not using it.
If you require any assistance, please feel free to contact the eNet team at the network services help desk.
If you require more IP addresses, please send your additonal IP address(es) request to netserv@interop.net. IP Addressing is always FREE of charge. If you are onsite please go to the Network Help Desk to request more IP addresses.
DNS resolution will work for both forward (Name to IP) and reverse (IP to Name) lookups.
